Overview
The U62T Mitsubishi Minicab was a kei class mini truck released in 1999 as an all new model. Improvements to this generation included increased payload, longer bed length, and a more fuel efficient engine with electronic fuel injection. The truck boasted a 50/50 weight distribution due to it’s cabover design. Additionally it came with 4WD, with a Lo-Hi- range transfer for 5-speed manual models only. The Minicab Truck was offered in the following four trim levels and accompanying features:
- TL – Top Trim – Automatic transmission, A/C, body kit
- Mighty – Off Road Trim – Upgraded suspension, LSD, cab protector, tailgate protector
- TD – Standard Trim – Power steering, AM radio
- TS – Entry Level Trim
