Description
This 1996 Hijet comes with all of the most desirable features of a mini truck. 4WD, locking differentials, a dump bed, and air conditioning. It is the ultimate mini truck for the 25+ year old segment. As equipped, it’s great for many different applications, and is especially useful in off-road conditions. The dump bed is rated to carry up to 350kg (770lbs) and operates easily via a switch on the dashboard. In addition to locking differentials, there is also a hi/lo transfer case for optimal off-road performance. Although this truck does show wear and tear of a 25 year old commercial vehicle, it runs fine and has been prepared for export to the USA, Canada, Australia, and more locations globally.
Condition
This Hijet is in great running condition, with all mechanical and electronic components confirmed to be working properly. The engine runs and idles smoothly, the transmission engages in each gear without slipping, and the 4WD system engages with locking differentials without issue. The dump bed operates smoothly without issue. The body has expected small dents and scratches on most panels and on the truck bed. Paint is a bit faded but not peeling. Light rust can be found on the truck bed and undercarriage, but no heavy corrosion or holes exist. The interior is very clean for a truck of this vintage, with some scuffs and scratches, but no missing panels or ripped seats. Please contact us if you have any specific questions about the condition of this truck.
