Description
This Subaru Sambar is the Classic variation with neo-retro styling reminiscent of older vans from the 60's. Fitting in with other neo-retro classics of the 90's such as the Nissan Pao and the Daihatsu Mira Gino, the Sambar Dias Classic was not only stylish but functional. It featured a raised roof and spacious cargo area for carrying whatever you need, as well as seats in the back for more passengers. All of this in a reliable and fashionable package that you can park in the tiniest of parking spots. The Sambar Dias Classic is a perfect van for cruising around town with some flair. Condition
This Van is in fine condition, with no major issues mechanically or structurally. The engine runs smoothly, and the automatic transmission shifts normally into gear with minimal shock. All lights are in working condition, and the air conditioning blows cold. The interior has held up well compared to many other vans of this vintage. There are some scrapes and scratches on the interior trim panels, as well as some stains in the fabric but no major rips or tears. The exterior features the original two-tone paint job with a white top and green body. There are some expected dent and scratches around the body from 26 years of use, with some larger dents and scratches near the rear bumper and driver’s side quarter panel. Underneath there is minimal rust, and no major corrosion holes/spots. This is a very nice running example of a special edition Sambar!
